My Writing Process - Blog Tour

I've been tagged by Melissa MacFarlane to reveal my answers to the following questions. Melissa is the owner and founder of the www.voluptasse.co.uk magazine and website. A newcomer to the writing world, she writes short stories, erotica and sex toy reviews. Thanks Melissa…

1)     What am I working on?

Claw Mark which is the sequel to Bite Mark - both books will be out this year from Ellora's Cave and are sexy paranormal menages. Can't wait, I'm loving my vampires and shifters and I hope readers will too.

2)     How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I've been told my novels are like watching a film. They move fluidly from scene to scene with plenty of action in and out of the bedroom.

3)     Why do I write what I do?

I write what I like to read, and that's feisty heroines, hot heroes and a plot that's not always predictable. I also sway between sexy romance - Breathe You In - and full on BDSM - Sexy as Hell. It's mood dependent, what I write, but also if a call for submissions requires a certain theme or heat level, then that also sparks my imagination.

4)     How does your writing process work?

The outline of the story has to grow in my mind. It has to form, again like watching a movie, and then once I start writing the details emerge. I like going back to a completed manuscript and adding extra juicy snippets that really pull the threads of a plot or character together. You can read more about my inspiration on my website.

Thanks again, Melissa, and if anyone wants me to tag them to do their own post for the writing process blog tour, just leave me a comment :-)
