Caliente Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Caliente Blog Hop, it is so great to have you stop by my home on the web.

So we're talking all things HOT! Perfect, I love hot and steamy and spicy and smokin'! As an author of erotic romance all my books have a generous heat level, some are simmering, some are boiling, so here is some information on a selection of my work.

Breathe You In is my latest release and is a romance about a guy, Ruben Strong, who is involved in the tyre-burning sport of Formula One. I love to use sport in my stories and this one is set in Northampton, the home of Silverstone Race Track, a place I've enjoyed many a high-octane, adrenaline-infused day at as a spectator. It was the perfect back-drop for Ruben's character.

The heroine in Breathe You In is going through a tough time, but in the middle of an English heatwave she comes face-to-face with a man who has something of hers... I don't want to say too much, not that I enjoy being cryptic particularly, but I don't want to spoil this unusual plot. What I will say though is this sexy story is getting 5* reviews from readers and although it's a slow burn leading up to the bedroom action, when it does happen, boy, is it explosive.

Blurb

Soul-aching desire was just the beginning!

If the road to Heaven starts in Hell then I was ready to start climbing my way out and Ruben Strong was the man to accompany me. With his devastating good looks, seductively sexy charm and lust for adrenaline he was sure to make it a sensual and erotic experience as well as one to re-awake the passionate, throw-caution-to-the-wind woman I’d once been.

I’d given Ruben something, though, without him realizing, and that gift had come from the man I’d loved before. But I couldn’t tell Ruben. I had to keep that a tight secret even as our naked bodies wound together, sought out pleasure and hit the dizzy heights of ecstasy as one. Because Ruben had my husband’s heart, literally, and that heart was still in love with me, so it seemed, and now I was in love with Ruben.

Emotions tangled with bliss, and fears were locked away as I surrendered to the touch of Ruben’s hands, the taste of his skin and the sounds of his pleasure. I couldn’t deny that Ruben had brought me back to life the same way I had him and there was no way I was giving up that feeling, not for anyone.

How could I not mention HOT ICE on the Caliente Blog Hop?

Hot Ice is my hockey series all about those bad boys of the ice and the women who tame them. It all started with Hired back in 2010 when I penned a story about a surly hockey player who'd been suspended from a week of games and sent to stay in a luxury villa to sort out his head. A beautiful woman, Brooke, is sent to keep an eye on him, stop him drinking himself into a stupor and festering in his bad mood. Needless to say his mood soon perks up when she arrives and from there on in things between them get hotter than the scorching sand outside of their villa!

Hired led to a secondary character, Brick, getting his own novel Cross-Checked, and then how could I leave out the captain of the fictional Orlando Vipers Hockey Team, Rick 'Ramrod' Lewis? He too got his own novel, though he really is pretty kinky in Slap Shot, just as well Dana can handle him perfectly well!

My naughty author mind wouldn't let up and Teamwork, a menage a trois novel where lucky physical therapist Fiona gets not one but two players tumbling into bed with her (and in the shower, and on the kitchen table... you get my drift!) is also available.

Just about to hit the digital shelves is High-Sticked.

High-Sticked is the only M/M in the series but in order to complete the journey of one of the other characters it needed to be written. I really hope readers enjoy this story about not just love but also the challenges gay athletes are faced with if they make the decision to come out.

I'm currently writing the 6th novel (m/f) which will be out in 2014. These hot and sexy hockey guys just won't leave my imagination alone - thank goodness!

Marbella, on the south coast of Spain, is a beautiful place, full of luxury yachts, cobbled streets and hidden tapas bars and of course blue sky and sun, it's hot, hot, hot! I've holidayed here many times, it's only a four hour hop from the UK and has considerably better weather!

So when I wanted my characters in The Glass Knot to all meet up somewhere full of sunshine, this is where I picked. Here are some sexy, sunny pictures that inspired me when writing the first few chapters of this m/m/f novel.

Mmm, I can almost feel the heat on my skin, smell the sea breeze and taste the salt-laden air! And him, oh yeah, I'd quite like to... well that's enough for now! LOL!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I'm going to give away a copy of HIRED the first in my Hot Ice series to one lucky commentor. Tell me your favourite HOT place to go - you can use your imagination, it doesn't have to be a geographical place! - and don't forget to leave your email addy.

  3. Hi Lily,
I read the "Hot Ice," series and really liked it! I have always wanted to have a couples-only getaway with my hubby on a private tropical island, a la "Blue Lagoon," or a private cabin in the mountains on a lake.
