Fun and Frolics in Edinburgh!

I was very lucky to get a trip to Edinburgh last weekend. The main reason we went was because Mr H wanted to see the Tattoo - a bucket list thing! Coinciding with our trip was the Fringe Festival which is huge fun. Every corner you turn around there are street performers, shows and comedy. Add in a meet up with one of my great friends, and fellow author Tabitha Rayne, and it really was a superb trip. Here's a few pictures...

Performers at the Festival.

Flyers advertising the many shows...

More performers (clouds I think!) - I love the expressions on the guy and his kid walking past!

The Beehive Inn - we got a perfect upstairs window seat and enjoyed indoor and outdoor performances.

Comedians - Moses Ali Khan and Richart Pulsford - had me giggling :)

View from our window seat in the Beehive!

A stroll to find dinner - we ended up at TigerLily with this horse as our view - lush!

A wander to the castle for the Military Tattoo

Drinks and hugs with Tabitha!

The next morning we had a trip to the Book Festival which was exceptionally good!

Finally a bit of souvenir shopping...

And a Gin Fizz in the sunshine before heading to the airport.

And my favourite bit of the whole trip.... this... it makes the hairs on the back of my neck tingle.

And yes, I'm already planning my trip back!
